Diverse Cub Group

Cubs

Boys and Girls aged 8-10.5 yrs (Monday 7pm)
Cubs have fun and adventures with their friends, play games, make things, go on visits, camps, challenges, competitions and learn new things.
Programmes represent a different development area in a young persons life. Such as: fitness and health, outdoors, creativity, beliefs and attitudes. Cubs are encouraged to earn badges in their interests and hobbies. Awards are used as a way of recognising and rewarding the achievements of our members.

Scouts

Boys and Girls aged 10.5-14.5 yrs (To Be Announced)
Scouts are encouraged to take part in a wide range of activities as part of their programme. ‘Participation’, rather than meeting set standards, is the key approach and for the Scout who wants to be recognised for his or hers achievements there are a number of Challenge Awards and Activity Badges.
Scouts take part in a balanced programme that helps them to find out about the world in which they live, encourages them to know their own abilities and the importance of keeping fit and helps develop their creative talents. It also provides opportunities to explore their own values and personal attitudes.
